Civil society dialogue forum

On May 1, 2024, a civil society dialogue forum was held in Kampala in the presence of representatives of Sudanese civil society organizations. Discussions took place within the framework of moving towards accepting others and promoting equality and diversity. The forum was opened by the African Organization for Rights and Development, which aims to achieve change and development.

The discussion was led by Professor Juma Kinda Kumi, an expert in peace and conflict resolution issues, and Dr. Abdul Baqi Jibril, an expert in human rights and international issues. The discussion was moderated by Professor Hanaa Al-Bashir.

The discussion focused on the unity of initiatives operating in Sudan.
The participants affirmed their commitment to working through the mechanisms provided by the African Organization for Rights and Development with the aim of reducing the phenomenon of hate speech and discrimination in Sudan.

This discussion aims to enhance awareness and cooperation of organizations and initiatives related to the issue and develop effective strategies and mechanisms to combat hate speech and discrimination in Sudan.
